GARBANZO BEAN STEW 
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. olive oil
1/2 c. lean ham, chopped
2 cans garbanzo beans, drained
2 lg. cans tomatoes, chopped
2 pkgs. frozen, chopped spinach (or string beans), thawed
1/2 tsp. paprika

Saute onion in oil; add ham and spices. Cook 3 minutes. Add beans and tomatoes; simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add spinach or green beans and cook 10 more minutes. Serve with salad or warm bread.
