CHEESE GRITS WITH GREEN CHILI | |
1/2 c. uncooked grits 1 egg 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, cut in chunks Chopped green chili, as desired 1/2 tsp. salt Cook grits in 2 1/2 cups water to a consistency to pour. Stir in cheese. Have some grated to sprinkle on top. Stir in beaten egg, salt, and chili. Bake in buttered casserole at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Keep hot for serving. |
