CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW COOKIES 
Use greased cookie sheet. Oven at 350 degrees.

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
18-24 marshmallows, cut in half

(Prepare these before you bake on wax paper cut side down.)

Cream butter and sugar, add egg, vanilla and milk, beat well. Sift together flour, salt, soda and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture, and blend well. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Don't overbake. Remove from oven and press 1/2 marshmallow, cut side down onto each cookie. Bake about 2 minutes longer. Don't let marshmallows run. Cool. Use Cocoa Frosting

COCOA FROSTING:

2 c. sifted powdered sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. cream or milk

Combine all ingredients. Cream well and frost top of cookies. Place pecan halves on top or walnuts. Store airtight container.
