1 gallon apple cider 1 c. brown sugar 6 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate 1 tbsp. whole cloves 1 tbsp. whole allspice 1 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. brandy or 1 c. vodka & 1 c. brandy (opt.) 24 cinnamon sticks Combine cider, sugar, undiluted lemonade and orange juice. Tie cloves and allspice in cheesecloth bag and add to cider mixture. Add nutmeg. Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes. Remove and discard spice bag. If desired, add brandy or vodka and brandy combination. Serve in hot mugs with cinnamon stick swizzlers. Serves 24. |
