1 qt. well ripe peaches
3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pt. Half and Half
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 qt. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1/4 tsp. salt

(Omit lemon juice with any other fruit except peaches).

Peel peaches and mash - stir sugar and lemon juice together and add to peaches. Set aside for 20 minutes. Blend cream, salt and flavoring together and blend mixture into peaches. Add 1 quart sweet milk. Stir well and pour into churn. Freeze. Drain water, refill with ice and salt. Pack down with newspaper with towel over. Let stand 2 or 3 hours.
