OLD SOUTH PRALINES 
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tall can Pet evaporated milk (or can substitute 3/4 c. half & half)
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. pecan halves (lg.)

Mix sugar, milk and butter thoroughly and cook until thick and creamy. Add 2 cups pecans and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and cook until mixture becomes sugary. Then drop from spoon on wax paper to form pralines. Work quickly and let the clusters cool. Store in dry place.
