CHEESEBURGER PIE 
Pastry for 1 (9 inch) pie
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 of 8 oz. can of tomato sauce
Cheese topping (see below)

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Brown beef in small amount of fat. Mix in rest of ingredients except topping. Spread in pastry lined pie pan. Spread cheese topping over filling. Serve in wedges. Bake 25 minutes with sauce (equal amounts of chili sauce and remaining tomato sauce).

CHEESE TOPPING:

Mix 8 ounces grated Cheddar, 1 egg, beaten, 1/4 cup milk and 1/2 teaspoon each salt, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
