HOBO BREAD 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cooking oil
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
2 pinches salt
1 egg

Boil raisins in water. Let cool. Add soda to raisin water. Blend in sugar and oil. Add egg, salt, and flour. Mix, then add nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour in 3 greased and floured 15 ounce size cans. Fill slightly more than half full. Let cool 15 minutes before removing from cans.
