SANDWICHES (CORNISH PASTRIES) 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. uncooked finely cubed potatoes
1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 sm. onion, chopped
Dash pepper
10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup, condensed
1 pkg. Pillsbury pie crust mix

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown ground beef, drain excess fat. Add potatoes, carrots, salt, poultry seasoning, onion, pepper and soup; mix well. Divide dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each on floured surface to 7 inch circle. Place 1/2 of meat mixture on each pastry circle. Moisten edges with water. Fold in half. Seal edges and prick top with fork. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Eat from hand or serve with a mushroom or beef gravy. Makes 6 pastries.
