WILLIE BESS'S CARAMEL FUDGE
BROWNIES
 
Oven temperature: 350 degrees. 13 x 9 inch greased and floured pan.

Melt:

1 pkg. caramels in 1/3 c. Pet milk (low fire)

Mix:

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. milk
1 c. pecans
3/4 c. melted butter

Stir by hand until it holds together. Take 1/2 of the cake mixture and pat out in bottom of the pan. Bake 5-6 minutes. Remove from oven.

Sprinkle over baked mixture:

1 c. chocolate chips

Pour melted caramels over chocolate chips. Sprinkle remaining cake mixture over the caramels. Return to oven and bake 15-17 minutes. Remove, cool slightly and cut.
