“FRUIT PUNCH FOR A CROWD” IS IN:

FRUIT PUNCH FOR A CROWD 
1 pint grated pineapple
2 pounds sugar, granulated
4 cups boiling water
2 cups hot tea
2 cups loganberry juice
9 lemons, juiced and grated
6 oranges, juiced and grated
5 quarts ice water
2 quarts ginger ale

In a saucepan, mix sugar and water and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves and boil for 10 minutes.

Add pineapple and cook 5 minutes more. Strain and allow to cool.

Add fruit juices. At serving time, add ice water.

Place a large block of ice in the punch bowl. Edible flowers, sprigs of mint or colorful candies may be frozen in the block if desired. Freeze the block of ice in a clean fruit juice carton with the top removed.

Add ginger ale just before serving.

Serves 50.
