AMISH CINNAMON FLOP 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter

Cream together sugar with butter and add beaten egg. Sift flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk to sugar mixture. Spread evenly in 8x8-inch pan. Cover with brown sugar and dot with butter. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees. Cut into squares and serve warm.
