RABBIT BAKED IN MILK 
1 rabbit
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sage
3 tbsp. fat
3 strips bacon
4 c. white sauce

Dress and clean one rabbit and disjoint into pieces for serving. Mix the flour, sage, and salt in a bowl. Thoroughly coat the pieces of rabbit with the mixture. Saute until brown on both sides. Place the rabbit in a casserole and lay the bacon over the surface. Pour the thin white sauce over and around the rabbit. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
