Homemade Whipped Cream

This was a good basic recipe, I doubled it the first time I tried it. I used white granulated sugar and beat the whipping cream on med a couple minutes before adding the other ingredients and then an additional 4 minutes before my whipped cream had soft peaks.. delicious, simple and divine on a strawberry shortcake!

This recipe is really good. The cream tastes good and after you stir it, you'll know when it's finished when it looks like whipped cream, you can also taste it to make sure.

I love making whipped cream. I find using powdered sugar is better than granulated. It always tastes gritty to me. Also, sometimes, I pour the cream into a bowl and chilled it with a bit of cocoa before whipping. The cocoa dissolves into the cream and then you make chocolate whipped cream!

This recipe is a very nice one. I made another batch, and felt experimental, so I added just a drop or two of rum extract. I am not a fan of rum, but this was really nice. Remember, do not add too much rum extract, or it will ruin the flavor.

This was a very good recipe. I had also doubled it because I had made 2 Pumpkin Pies and it was extremely delicious as a topper. I would suggest this recipe to any and every person I know.

I tried it and it was great but another recipe for those with less ingredients is 1 egg white, 1/4 cup of cream, a dash or so of cinnamon, and sugar.

I used lemon extract instead of vanilla. It went great with the strawberry shortcake.

Perfect! Used it to replace a black forest cake whipped topping. The topping I was going to make didn't require sugar! Unsweet just sound blah to me on top of a cake. Added 1 tbsp. Kirshwasser... delicious on top of my German Chocolate cake!

I find that if you put your mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for about 10 minutes that it whips up faster. This is the best way to make whip cream :)
