MANDARIN CHOW MEIN 
Cook 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. Top Ramen noodles (left over spaghetti works fine)

2 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tsp. catsup
1 tsp. sugar

Put 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil or olive oil in skillet and heat.

4 sm. cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

1/2 lb. pork or beef strips (ground beef can also be used)

Cook until done.

3 c. shredded cabbage
1 (18 oz.) can slices bamboo shoots or 1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 can bean sprouts, drained or fresh sprouts
1/2 c. shredded coarsely carrot
1/2 c. green pepper
2 green onions, chopped

Stir constantly until cabbage is tender. Add sauce and mix well. Serve over noodles. Very good! Can eliminate some ingredients and add others, sliced celery, etc.
