COKE FLOAT
Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream into a tall glass.

Pour Coke over the ice cream. Stir things up a little. Add another scoop of ice cream on top. Stick a straw through the scoop and serve.

These were popular in the age of the soda jerk, often served at drug store counters in the 20's and 30's. They were often served in coke shaped glasses (wide at the top with a narrow bottom) set in a frame with a metal handle.
