BROCCOLI & CAULIFLOWER WITH
MUSTARD SAUCE
 
2 c. broccoli florets
2 c. cauliflower florets
1/2 c. salted water
1/3-1/2 c. nonfat milk (or regular)
1 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
Dash onion powder

Combine broccoli and cauliflower with salted water in microwave-safe baking dish. Cover. Microwave on high 8-11 minutes or until tender, stirring once.

In medium bowl or glass measure, blend milk, flour, mustard, salt and onion powder with wire whip. Microwave on high 2-3 minutes or until thickened, stirring every minute. Pour vegetables. Toss to coat.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
