CHICKEN POT PIE 
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 lg. onion
1 lg. can peas or mixed vegetables
1/2 stick butter
2 c. chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. milk
1 c. Bisquick
Pepper to taste

Cook chicken with onion until tender. Remove chicken from bone. Place in bottom of large baking dish. Top this with 1 can peas or mixed vegetables. Pepper to taste. Melt butter, pour over peas.

Mix 2 cups chicken broth with 1 can cream of chicken. Pour half of this over peas. Blend 1 cup milk and 1 cup Bisquick to make soft dough. Pour over peas. Now pour the other half of chicken broth mixture over Bisquick. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees until crust is golden brown uncovered. Crust rises to top over broth as it cooks.
