CHICKEN SPECTACULAR | |
2 (3-3 1/2 lb.) frying chickens 1 box UNCLE BEN'S® long grain & wild rice (not instant) 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen French style green beans 1 c. sliced water chestnuts 1 c. cream of mushroom soup 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms 1/2 c. mayonnaise Simmer chickens in seasoned water 1 hour or until done. Let cool. Remove meat from bones and save broth. Cook rice according to package directions using chicken broth instead of water. Thaw beans under hot water. Mix cooked rice, chicken, beans, water chestnuts and mushrooms together. Add soup and mayonnaise mixture. Put in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven or until heated through. Can also be put in smaller dishes and one frozen for later use. |
