1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. grated onion
1/3 c. white vinegar
1 c. salad oil

Mix all dry ingredients. Add onion; add small amount of oil. Mix well. Gradually add small amounts of vinegar and oil alternately, ending with oil.

Mix in electric mixer or blender or shake well in a jar. Store in refrigerator.
