OLD-FASHIONED SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef (browned)
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 onions, diced
4 cloves garlic
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 tsp. salt
2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
4 (6 oz.) cans water
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. curry
1/8 tsp. cayenne
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. tomato juice
1/2 to 1/4 bottle catsup

Brown ground beef and drain. Add other ingredients in order listed. Bring to a slow boil then reduce heat and simmer at least 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti.
