1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1/2 of 18 1/2 oz. box cake mix 1 stick butter 1 c. nuts, chopped Spread pie filling evenly as bottom layer in 9 inch square cake pan. Sprinkle the 1/2 box of dry cake mix evenly over pie filling. Thinly cut butter to cover cake mix. Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly on top. Bake in 350 degree oven about 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream. Can use blueberry or apple pie filling (but add ground cinnamon to apple). Serves 9. |
