CLAM FRITTERS 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt or more
Dash pepper
1 c. milk
1/2 c. clam liquid
2 eggs
24 chopped clams, chopped onions

Sift dry ingredients. Add milk, clam liquid and eggs; mix well. Add clams. Drop by spoonfuls onto well greased griddle or fry pan already hot. Fry until golden on both sides. Serve with lemon wedges.
