PEACH COBBLER 
Melt 3/4 stick butter in bottom of deep baking dish (loaf pan).

Mix batter:

3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

Melt 3/4 stick butter in a deep baking dish loaf pan.

Make a thin batter of above ingredients, pour over melted butter. Place one can peach halves over batter. Do Not Stir. Bake 1 hour at 350°F.

SAUCE (optional):

Thicken peach juice with:

1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Boil until thick. Add:

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Serve warm over cobbler.
