HEAVY DUMPLINGS 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
salt, to taste
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Combine ingredients. Add enough water for sticky, hard-to-stir dough. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling soup.
