ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD 
1 head cabbage, chopped into sm. pieces
4 pkgs. Ramen noodles, without seasoning
1 c. slivered almonds
1 c. cashews (can use peanuts)
3/4 c. sunflower seeds
1 bunch green onion (tops only)

DRESSING:

3/4 c. oil
1/2 c. seasoned rice vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in skillet. Break Ramen noodles into hot oil. Add nuts. Saute until all are lightly brown. Drain on paper towel. Cool. Place in plastic bag until serving time. Refrigerate dressing for at least 1 hour.

Just before serving, mix cabbage, nuts and noodles thoroughly. Add onion and dressing and toss. Serves 20.
