MRS. W'S ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mix well. Sift salt and soda with flour, add nuts then add with first part.

Roll into round rolls and put in refrigerator overnight. When ready to bake turn out on floured board, slice very thin. Bake in moderate oven until crisp. Bake as you need, 5 dozen.
