GREEN BEANS AND CABBAGE 
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon
2 lg. onions, sliced
3 (10 oz.) frozen French style green beans
2 sm. heads cabbage, sliced rind
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry bacon in large Dutch oven. Drain bacon - crumble - set aside. In small amount of bacon fat, saute onions. Add frozen beans. Cook until thawed. Then add cabbage, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until cabbage is tender. Serve topped with crumbled bacon.
