SAVANNAH RED RICE 
4 strips bacon
2 chopped green peppers
2 chopped medium onions
2 c. cooked rice
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Pepper, to taste
1 c. tomato sauce
1 tsp. Tabasco
1 lb. cooked shrimp and/or cooked sausage

In a large skillet cook bacon, until crisp and remove and drain. Fry pepper and onion in drippings until brown. Add rice, tomatoes, tomato sauce, bacon (crumbled) and Tabasco. Add shrimp or sausage and pepper.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place contents into greased 2 quart casserole. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake 30 minutes.
