APPLESAUCE NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce
1/3 c. oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. pecans

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. pecans, chopped

Blend sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs and milk. Stir in flour mixture. Stir in 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Turn into 9 x 5 x 3-inch bread pan. Sprinkle topping to cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cover loosely for last 30 minutes.
