CHICKEN A LA MARIA 
3/4 c. Italian seasoned find dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 whole chicken breast, split lengthwise and boned
1/2 c. sliced green onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 (4 oz.) pkg. boiled ham

Combine bread crumbs and cheese; dip chicken breast halves in crumb mixture to coat. Set remaining crumb mixture aside. In saucepan cook onion in butter until tender.

Blend in flour; mix in milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in spinach and ham. Spoon spinach mixture over chicken; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until done.
