1 (1 lb.) can garbanzo beans
1 (1 lb.) can whole kernel corn
2 (1 lb.) cans barbecue beans
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. leaf thyme, crumbled
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
6 slices bacon
1/2 sm. green pepper, seeded and diced

Drain liquids from garbanzo bean and corn into a bowl. Drain half of this combined liquid away, reserving the other half.

Combine the garbanzo beans, corn, barbecue bean and onion in a baking dish. Mix the brown sugar, mustard, thyme and garlic into reserved liquid, then pour over bean mixture. Bake in hot 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. Then lay bacon slices on top and bake for 30 minutes longer or until beans are bubbly hot and bacon is crisp. Sprinkle with diced green pepper.
