CHEESECAKE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. all purpose flour
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar

To soften butter or cream cheese, set them out on the counter about 30 minutes before making the cookies.

Cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add flour and beat or mix well. Shape dough into a ball by using a melon spoon or a normal teaspoon. Place balls on cookie sheet. Press down on the balls slightly with a wet knife.

Bake at 375 degrees for 12-13 minutes. Cool on rack or foil for a little while afterwards.
