FRICADELLA 
1 lb. ground chuck or round
3-4 slices bread
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg
1 tbsp. minced parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

In mixing bowl add ground meat, bread (which has been moistened with milk or water and squeezed dry), onion, egg and parsley. Mix well and form into patties. Brown on both sides in a little oil until cooked through. Turn out onto warm platter. Serve with plenty of applesauce. Oh, so good!

Close to what Mama used to make and I'm sure it's great. We add 2 tbsp. of Ketchup and 2 teaspoons of Gulden's mustard; simple additions that make them even yummier.

This is a great one - we serve it with boiled potatoes, cauliflower, and a cream sauce made with the broth from boiling the cauliflower. (heavy cream, broth & flour)
