EASY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
 

1 envelope gelatine
1/4 cup cold water
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed

In small saucepan, sprinkle gelatine over cold water; let stand 1 minute. Stir over low heat until gelatine is completely dissolved. Stir in butter until melted.

In blender or food processor process milk, sugar cocoa powder and vanilla until blended. While processing, gradually add gelatine mixture and process until blended. Pour into bowl, then blend in whipped topping. Turn into dessert wishes or 4-cup bowl; chill until firm. Garnish, desired, with additional whipped topping and chocolate curls.

Makes about 8 servings.

MICROWAVE DISSOLVING DIRECTIONS:

In 1 cup glass measuring cup, sprinkle 1 envelope gelatine over 1/4 cup cold water; let stand 2 minutes. Microwave at HIGH (Full power) 40 seconds; stir thoroughly then let stand 2 minutes or until gelatine is completely dissolved. Proceed as above.
