GINGER BREAD | |
2 eggs 3/4 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. molasses 3/4 c. melted shortening or oil 2 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. ginger 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. boiling water Add beaten eggs to the sugar, molasses and shortening. Add dry ingredients which have been mixed and sifted. Last add the hot water. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 to 40 minutes. Use 9 x 13 inch pan. |
