PEACH DUMPLINGS 
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 - 1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
2 c. sliced peaches
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Combine all the above in heavy skillet or saucepan. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

DUMPLINGS:

1 c. self rising flour
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 - 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour and sugar, cut in butter. Add vanilla to milk and add to flour mixture to make a soft dough; stirring only until flour is well moistened. Drop by spoonfuls into simmering sauce. Cook, uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and steam gently 15 minutes.
