NOODLE PEACH BAKE | |
1/2 tsp. salt 1 qt. water 1 (8 oz.) pkg. broad noodles 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 egg 1 (8 oz.) can sliced peaches with syrup Toasted white bread crumbs 2 tbsp. butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add salt to 1 quart water in a saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil and drop in noodles. Cook for 8 minutes. Drain. Mash cream cheese; add egg and mix well. Drain peaches; reserve syrup. Spoon in 2 tablespoons syrup. Add peaches and toss with cooked noodles. Spoon into a greased casserole. Top with a thin layer of bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake 20 minutes or until hot and lightly browned. Makes 4 servings. |
