1 lb. sirloin petite steaks
2 1/2 tbsp. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. mushrooms
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 tbsp. Gravy Master
3 1/2 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 c. fresh broccoli, cut into sm. flowerettes
3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 1/2 c. water

First take broccoli, clean and cut into small flowerettes. Bring 2 quarts of water to boil; add broccoli and boil 5 minutes; drain and set aside. Take petite steaks and sliver the beef in thin strips. Dust the strips with flour on a 9 inch flat plate. In large skillet, heat the shortening on low heat until melted. Add beef strips to shortening and saute until brown, making it pasty. Keep on low heat; add salt and pepper to season. Add soy sauce; stir until thick. Gradually add the water. Now add onions, mushrooms, and broccoli; simmer for 20 minutes on low heat. Then add 1 tablespoon of Gravy Master for browning sauce. Stir and serve over rice.
