SAUSAGE CORNBREAD CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. bulk sausage 2 slices white bread, cubed 2 pkgs. cornbread stuffing (seasoning pkg. also) 1 cup sliced onions 1/2 cup chopped celery 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 2 cans chicken broth 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 cans water 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (save for top) Crumble sausage into large skillet and cook bread until browned; drain thoroughly. Combine with remaining ingredients. Pour into 3-quart baking dish and sprinkle with 1 cup Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes. |
