MOMMA'S MEATBALLS | |
3 lbs. hamburger, thawed 1 can evaporated milk 2 cups oatmeal 2 eggs 1 cup onion 1/2 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon chili powder Topping: 2 cups ketchup 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar 2 tablespoons liquid smoke 1/2 cup onion flakes 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Mix hamburger, evaporated milk, oatmeal, eggs, onion, pepper, salt and chili powder in a bowl. Shape into meatballs (approx 2 inches). Place meatballs into a 9 x 13 pan coated with non-stick spray. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix topping ingredients. Spread on top of meatballs using a spatula. Bake for 1 hour in a 350°F oven. These meatballs are excellent to keep in the freezer, unbaked. Simply thaw and bake-off when ready for a quick and easy dinner. Submitted by: Jessica |
