2 lb. frozen, cubed hash browns 1/2 cup butter 1 can cream soup 1 cup sour cream 1 cup milk 8 oz. shredded Cheddar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper
Mix all ingredients well and spread into casserole. Bake at 350°F for 1-1 1/2 hours or until bubbly and browned.

It's even good in the microwave!!! I set my oven to turn on and cook, but it got turned off. So, in a pinch for a side dish, I threw it in the microwave for 20 minutes. Everyone loved it!

I tried the recipe and added 1 small diced onion and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flake for a spicy touch. Yummy! If you don't like red pepper flake, also try 2 tablespoons green bell pepper.
