SHORTENING BREAD | |
4 c. all purpose flour, sifted 1 c. light brown sugar 2 c. shortening, softened Combine flour and sugar in large mixing bowl work in shortening with a pastry blender. Place dough on a bread board and pat to a half-inch thickness. Cut into 2 to 3 dozen bars and bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. |
