2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1/2 c. yellow onions, chopped 1 clove garlic, fresh, minced 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper 1 lb. Louise Rich ground turkey 3 tbsp. yellow mustard 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cayenne 3 tbsp. chili powder 2 tbsp. cumin 2 (14 oz.) cans tomatoes with juice 2 (14 oz.) cans kidney beans with juice Place oil in a large heavy pan. When hot, saute the onions, garlic and green peppers until tender. Add the ground turkey and stir, when slightly cooked add mustard, salt, cayenne, chili powder and cumin. Mix well and add the tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add the beans with their liquid and cook uncovered for 15 minutes. |
