PASTA IN A POT 
2 lbs. hamburger
2 med. onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (14 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
8 oz. shelled macaroni
3 c. (1 1/2 pts.) sour cream
1/2 lb. Provolone cheese, sliced
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced

Cook beef until brown. Drain fat; add onions, garlic, sauce, stewed tomatoes and undrained mushrooms. Mix well. Simmer 20 minutes.

Cook macaroni; pour half the shells in a deep casserole. Cover with half the sauce. Spread with 1/2 cup sour cream and sliced Provolone. Repeat, ending with Mozzarella cheese. Cover; bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Uncover last few minutes so cheese will bubble and brown. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
