1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. uncooked rice (not Minute rice)
1 env. Lipton chicken noodle soup mix (or 2 chicken bouillon cubes)
1/4 tsp. sage
2 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme

In skillet, heat butter and saute onion, celery and rice until rice is golden brown. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. 4-6 servings.
