MEATBALL HOAGIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 c. each finely diced onion, celery & green bell pepper
1/2 c. uncooked quick cooking oats
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can Hunt's Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce
All-purpose flour
Wesson oil
6-8 French rolls
Italian dressing
Shredded cheddar shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. water

In bowl, combine first 9 ingredients and 1/2 cup Manwich sauce. Shape meat mixture into 1" balls, lightly coat with flour. In large skillet, lightly brown meatballs in oil; remove from skillet. Drain meatballs on paper towels; discard oil from skillet. Return meatballs to skillet. Pour remaining sauce and water over meatballs, cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Lightly drizzle Italian dressing in buns. Place 3 to 4 meatballs on bottom half of each bun. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 1" from heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
