1 med. or lg. round steak, cut into 6 pieces
1 med. onion
5 to 6 med. potatoes, cut in halves
6 to 8 lg. carrots, peeled & cut into slices
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
1/2 c. seasoned flour

Flour pieces of round steak and brown in Crisco or any oil. (I use electric fry pan, but any large deep pan could be used.) Slice and place onion on top of meat, cover and cook approximately 30 minutes. Add small amount of water as needed. Place carrots around meat and onions, cover and cook another 30 to 45 minutes. Add potatoes and cook until tender. Pour tomato soup, diluted with one can of water, over the entire amount, and simmer until ready to eat. This can be prepared in oven (low temperature at 250 degrees) as well as electric fry pan.

Cole slaw goes well with this main dish.
