BLACKBERRY CREAM PIE 
1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked
1 qt. fresh or frozen blackberries (may substitute blueberries)
1 c. thick sour cream
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Sort, rinse and drain berries and put into pie shell. Place sour cream in bowl. Sift sugar, flour and salt together; gradually add to sour cream. Spoon mixture over berries, spreading into an even layer.

Mix bread crumbs, sugar and butter together; sprinkle over sour cream. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer. Cool before cutting and serving. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
