NOODLES ROMANO 
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. basil
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. shredded or grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
2/3 c. boiling water
8 oz. fettucini, thin noodles or spaghetti
1 clove garlic
1/4 c. butter

Combine 1/4 cup butter, parsley, basil - blend cream cheese and pepper. Stir in boiling water. Blend well. Keep warm over hot water while preparing noodles. Cook noodles in large amount of water until just done, drain. Cook garlic in butter 1 to 2 minutes. Pour over noodles and toss lightly and quickly to coat well. Sprinkle with 1/2 Romano cheese. Toss again. Pile noodles on warm serving platter. Spoon warm cheese mixture over. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 of Romano cheese.
